OUR CODE OF ETHICS

All representatives of the Warren Legacy Foundation are required to adhere to our Code of Ethics.

1) We do not promote paranormal tourism in the aspects of urban exploration, where entering a building without permission or with no reason to be there. Paranormal research is not a game and you should not lead people or put yourself into potentially dangerous situations. Investigating the paranormal should be done carefully and only if…

2) Do no harm! If you are unable to help a client, please ask for assistance. Don’t try to learn at another’s expense.

3) Our main goal is to help the living; however, it is an added bonus if we can assist spirits too.

4) Integrity above all else. The paranormal field is a profession overrun by amateurs. We need to project calm confidence for our clients. Remember, you represent something far more significant than yourself as a member of The Foundation.

5) We are not paranormal celebrities. Big egos get in the way of accomplishing our mission.

6) We never charge to help our clients. If they wish to donate to the organization, that is fine.

7) We do not expose our clients to publicity. It will destroy their lives. Our clients’ anonymity is sacred.

8) We can share our cases and research in the Researchers’ Facebook group.

9) When we agree to take on a case, it is our responsibility until we turn it over to another researcher or close it.

10) When closing a case, it is your responsibility to report evidence and information to The Foundation detailing who, what, where, when, why, and how. (We have a standard report to use.) Take good notes because we are educating the researchers who follow us.

11) Treat this work as a profession and act with dignity at all times. We represent something much more significant than ourselves; God in whatever form you perceive Him, Her, or Them.

12) Treat all clients with equal respect regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. Most have psychological difficulties, even if there is an actual paranormal issue.

13) Team members must keep contact information up to date with their Regional Director and the Admin Team.

14) Professional conduct is expected at all times while a case is active. Fraternization with current clients is forbidden. It is imperative to remain professional at all times, especially when working with clients. Additionally, our clients are just clients. We need to treat them with respect and not have any other type of relationship with…

15) Unauthorized persons are not allowed on cases unless approved by The Foundation.

16) All press requests must be forwarded to and handled by The Foundation’s Director, Marketing Coordinator, or designated representatives.

17) Any cases originating from The Warren Foundation remain the intellectual property of the Foundation.

18) We encourage all members to share their cases and evidence while maintaining client confidentiality.

19) You are welcome and encouraged to publicize your membership of The Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research and promote its goals and messages. However, no event may be promoted as a Warren Legacy Foundation event without the director’s written permission and his board of directors.
